This image is absolutely beautiful. The composition really attracts the human eye, and the flower itself seems to be summoning the viewer. Just looking art this image, I could tell that the artist was able to demonstrate profession, quality, and a relative amount of simplicity in their artwork.
To explain my scoring, the artist quickly showed that he or she could envision photographs before they happen. I scored lower for originality simply because, as often occurs in macro photography, a very similar thing has been done before. However, the flower shown was not at the end of the stem, which is relatively abnormal in this type of photograph. The technique was astonishing, what with the seamless blue and white background matched to the pink and white flower. The impact is very strong indeed, as its simplicity made me feel clean and washed, while the overall image still delivered a strong, powerful feeling. Excellent work!
